Cheech and Chong are an affectionate, bonded pair of chihuahuas Milwaukee Pets Alive lovingly calls "The Chi Brothers." These boys were rescued together from Milwaukee Animal Control and are looking for a forever home to welcome them as a pair?two hearts, four ears, and ten pounds ready to keep you smiling every day!
Cheech, the younger of the pair, is approximately two years old. He is the ?charmer? and will be the first to hop into your lap with tiny kisses and plenty of snuggles. Older brother Chong is the protector of this pair but don?t let his reserved nature fool you; the minute he feels comfortable it is all about the snuggles for this four-year-old pup. The Chi Brothers love nothing more than to snuggle up together in your lap -- and at a ten pounds total, there is plenty of room!
Young Cheech does have a form of luxating patellas, a common condition in small dogs like Chihuahuas. His two rear knees give him a bit of a ?froggy hop? when he walks. Our veterinarian believes this has likely been something Cheech has always experienced; he is not experiencing any pain or significant restrictions as a result. In fact, Cheech has quite a bit of bounce in his step and enjoys being active. Rumor has it when the boys ?race? with family members, he wins just as often as his big brother!
