Iris is about 4 years old. lionhead but I think shes mixed with jersey wooly because shes smaller and furrier. Surrendered because previous owner couldn't give her the care she needs. Her rehab is going well and is now ready for her forever home. She will need FREQUENT grooming. She needs HOURS of exercise outside of her cage DAILY to continue rebuilding rear leg strength. (I leave her cage open all day and let her roam the house). Other than that, she is healthy. She is litterbox trained, not spayed, prefers staying on the floor to be pet rather than held but still sweet. Her bottom has been completely shaved to stay clean when going potty. recovering well from urine scald. I check her bottom daily to make sure she doesn't have poo stuck in her fur. NO WIRE CAGES because shes recovering from sore hock. **Potential adopters will be thoroughly interviewed, must have rabbit experience, she must be housed indoors, you must have the knowledge of grooming rabbits(her fur is currently clipped down as seen in pics). Not in a hurry to rehome. If she cannot find the perfect home, she will live out the remainder of her life with me.
Iris has an adoption fee of $5. Cage and supplies available for an additional $15(good condition cage is 40" x 17", bed, toys, litterbox, water bottle, food dish). If you don't need her cage, I will need proof of a proper enclosure. serious inquiries only, will remove ad when placed.
