Lizzie #xxxx Age: 8 yrs (DOB 1/2/xxxx) Weight: 50 lbs Hi my name is Lizzie! My owner could no longer care for me so I came to BBR. I am very affectionate and love to be the center of attention. I dont like being left alone and so I hope I can find a forever family that will spend a lot of time with me. I am very good in the car so I can travel along without a problem. I do have a mild heart murmur but it currently does not require any treatment. I also have some bladder stones. The vet is monitoring them right now to see if they should be removed. Right now they are not causing me any problems. Temperament & Behavior Exposure to children? Yes What ages were the children? 3 and up Describe the dogs reaction to children: Lizzie is very calm with kids Good with other dogs? Yes. Lizzie is good with other dogs, but she is the boss and will lay down the law when she first meets any dog, by barking at them. Good with cats? Yes. Just ignores them Good with birds, parrots, etc. Unknown Can climb stairs? Yes Pulls on a leash? Yes. Lizzie does pull on leash, we are working on that. Food aggressive? No. Lizzie is not really food aggressive, but if she does want another dogs food, she will bark at them till they leave. Has allergies? Yes. I think maybe she has fall pollen allergies, benadryl seems to work well. Type of family life? I think she is used to a quiet life, with someone home most of the time, she does not like it when I leave. She is always by my side at home. List anything the dog is afraid of. Lizzie does not like being left alone. Tell us about your foster basset: Lizzie is a very cute affectionate girl who will always stay by your side.
