Meet Emily! Emily is an approximately 4 month old solid black kitten Milwaukee Pets Alive rescued from Milwaukee Animal Control (MADACC). Emily is sweet, thoughtful, gentle, and graceful with gorgeous green eyes! Emily came into MADACC all alone, but Milwaukee Pets Alive knows kittens do better with a friend or two (or 3) so we rescued 3 other single kittens (Beatrice, Dora, and Cole - also available for adoption!) and placed them all together in foster so they would have companionship, playmates, and learn the rules of being a cat from each other. Emily gets along great with all her foster kitten siblings. She also hangs out with the resident adult male cats in her foster home and likes them, too! Emily enjoys playing with an array of toys from mousies, to jingly and crinkly balls, to feather wands. She loves to bat and chase them all around the room, but she enjoys playing with her foster kitten siblings most of all. Emily is a snuggle-instigator and can often be found snuggling away all cuddled up with one or more of her foster kitten buddies during nap time or with foster mom during the night. When you sit down on the floor at her level and start petting her and rubbing her cheeks, she will begin purring and slowly crawl into your lap to curl up for cuddles. Emily can be shy around people, but the presence of her kitten foster siblings is helping to build her confidence. She will get stressed and hide when too much is going on and needs her own space to retreat to and to feel safe. Emily is looking for a patient, loving forever family to help build her confidence. A home environment without small children and a relatively mellow pace (not too much excitement) would be best suited to make this loving little gal happy! Emily also seeks the companionship of another kitten or young cat as a playmate and sidekick in her forever home. Her foster siblings, Dora, Beatrice, and Cole (also available for adoption), are brimming with confidence and would make great adoption companions for Emily. Consider bringing home one of her built-in-buddies, too! Emilys adoption fee is $80 (or a pair of kittens for $140 if she is adopted with one of her foster siblings) and, like all MPA adoptable pets, she is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
